Offline mode

CanvassIQ is offline-first. The mobile app stores everything locally first, then syncs to the server when a connection is available.

What's stored offline

• Your assigned area and all addresses within it
• The active survey definition
• All responses you capture during your shift

When sync happens

The app attempts a sync:

• Every 60 seconds when online
• When you tap Sync now in the app menu
• Whenever the app comes back to the foreground

What if I lose my phone?

All in-progress data is uploaded as soon as the app reconnects, so a lost or broken device only loses the responses captured since the last successful sync — usually under a minute.
